I was working at Ubisoft Bordeaux as a voice designer between 2018 and 2019.
I was in charge of the game world’s voices : random NPC events system, animation voices (onomatopeia), cinematic voices (cutscnes)…
I tracked the recording of the voices, manage the thousands and thousands of audio-files, and integrate them to the game through Wwise and in-house voice management tools.
I was at the intersection of a lot of profession to get the voices to fit nicely in every game situation. It’s a job that requires a high capacity of communication.
